Chinese Antiques From Boston and North Shore, A few from over the years

Going through a selection of items that have passed through our hands over 30 years, we thought it might be fun to share a few of them.

We hope you enjoy the video and music, performed by a North Shore classical guitar artist John Tavano.  (we met him when her performed at our wedding in Beverly Farms, a fabulous man)



This is no where near all of the items, just a small group of what can be found here in New England. I'll add other slide shows and update this one as time allows. Also check our other posts for more examples.

Its amazing how much information their is in just the pictures themselves. The details of the feet, the glazes, shapes, colors, porcelain quality and so forth. Most of the items shown here have been bought within 20 miles of my home here on Cape Ann in Gloucester, Massachusetts, including the greater Boston area. This includes buying from fellow dealers, estate calls and at estate auctions.

From here, we sell them all yet again to collectors in China, the US and Europe.

The age of the porcelain and pottery cover the a few things from the Song Dynasty,  Ming Dynasty, Qing and Post the Qing Dynasty, also a few nice brush pots.

Some good Kangxi examples, 18th C. export porcelain, crackle glazed 18th C. vases, figural Famille verte foo lions, some Imari, cloisonne, Chinese enamels and so forth...we'll be adding more as time goes along. Below are some additional still images.
