| Qianlong Gilt Porcelain Brush Washer, 1736-1795 |
A gilt decorated Qianlong Period brush washer with finely worked relief of dragons interspersed with clouds.
The quality of this example is particularly fine throughout and exemplify the high level of work done during the earlier part of the Qianlong era.
I wonder how many yards that I sail past have some of these wonderful artifacts? I must slow down and smell the Porcelein!
